Let's Get Healthy with HENRY (Health Exercise Nutrition for the Really Young)
This 11-week programme has been designed to cover the key lifestyle areas with groups of parents and carers. Each session begins with family time and young children are then cared for while parents/carers explore the topic of the week. Participants receive the HENRY toolkit and supporting materials. The final 2 weeks of the course will be cooking.

North Tawton Stay & Play/Health Clinic
Tuesdays 10.30am-12pm
North Tawton Stay & Play/Health Clinic will be at the same time but the Child Health Clinic will be every other week from January 2012 with Stay & Play on the other weeks, there will be a weekly Busy Babies group at North Tawton, in the room upstairs 10.30 - 12.

Lone Parent Group
This is a group for lone parents which runs on the last Tuesday of every month, 1.30-3pm.
A chance to meet new people in your area who are in a similar situation to yourself, to give support and advice to eachother and to have some me time.
This group is also for those who have partners that work away from home for long periods at a time.

Thursday 9.15- 10.15 or 10.30-11.30

A session full of stories, action rhymes, singing and musical instruments.

Each session will include ½ hour drop in at beginning followed by ½ hour singing and story time.

Bumps to Babies
Every Wednesday 10am-11.30, Sunshine Room

If you are pregnant and thinking of breastfeeding or you are a breastfeeding Mum then you are very welcome to come along. The group will be attended each week by peer counsellors and a midwife assistant will be there once a month, to support and advise as necessary. Or you may just want to chat and share with other breastfeeding Mums in a comfortable and friendly environment.
There will always be lots of information available and we have feeding cushions and breast pumps for hire.

Busy Babies!
A special group for babies - not yet walking

Held in the Sunshine room, 10.30-12

This group will run every other Monday with Baby Clinic on the alternating weeks at the same time (see dates below for clinic).
It's an opportunity for you and your baby to come and socialise and explore new toys in a safe and relaxed environment, with something new each week.

Treasure Baskets and singing are always a part of Busy Babies.

Dads & Working Parents Session - Currently suspended

Hatherleigh Community Centre (Sunshine Room), 10am-11.30

This group runs monthly on a Saturday morning. Provides a session for you to spend quality time with your children and meet others.
This session is open to everyone including mums, grandparents, aunts, uncles and anyone else looking after children.
We look forward to seeing you.
