If you’ve not been to any of our sessions before, now is a good time to come along, meet new friends and have some fun with your children.

Mondays

A variety of activity sessions in half termly blocks to include Heuristic play, cooking with kids and sensory play. See Special Events Diary for more details.

Black Torrington Toddlers: Black Torrington village hall, 10.00-11.30am with toy/book library service once every four weeks. For current dates go to the Special Events Diary.

Busy Babies & Health Visitor clinic: Monday’s 2-3.30pm – busy babies is a special group for parents & babies up to 18 months. Come & meet other parents whilst your little ones play, explore & socialise in a relaxed, friendly environment. On alternate Mondays the health visitor from Okehampton will hold baby clinic alongside busy babies, with an opportunity to have your baby weighed and discuss any concerns you may have. (Private room available)

Bounce and Rhyme: singing, music and stories for 0-3 year olds. Hatherleigh Community Centre, 9.30-11.30am every week. First hour is a drop in for coffee and chat. Then a break for snack time, then a session from 10.45-11.30 of singing, story and circle games.

Breast feeding support group:every Tuesday 2-4pm. This is a group to support pregnant & breastfeeding mums with advice and help each week from a health visitor, midwife or maternity assistant. The centre staff also provides a variety of resources for loan including electric breast pumps, feeding cushions and advice leaflets. All in a friendly supportive environment, just call in.

Northlew, Highampton and Exbourne Toddlers: Outreach toy library and/or bounce & rhyme session taken out to Northlew, Highampton or Exbourne toddler sessions in rotation. See Special Events Diary for dates.

Parent Forum: A chance for parents to meet and share ideas. Meetings bi-monthly. 7.30-9.30pm.
